You need to know up-front that I can’t exactly explain what’s turned a whole bunch of Columbia people into
D. Rowe’s regulars over these past
four years.
Yes, you’ll find lunch and dinner meals that overspill the plates.
Yes, you can constantly try new and surprising specials.
And yes, from time to time we try to have fun stuff going on in addition to always having your favorite team on TV and a bar, booths, and tables big enough for friends and families to feast on good conversation.
One regular recently said we were like Wrigley Field, “You’re not fancy,” he said, “but you’re comfortable … and real …”
Just as quickly, he added, “and if you ever change and start thinkin’ you’re better than us, we’re leavin’ …”
Wouldn’t blame ‘em if they did. And while you’ll see us changing a little bit with our catering service, I hope you’ll find you feel comfortable here, too.
