Announcing Good Tuesdays:
On Tuesdays, 5% of all gross revenue will go to a predetermined local, registered 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization. We're not gonna hit you up at your table for extra or bug you about it. We're just going to take 5% off the top all nice and quiet-like.
In August, we're raising money for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Mid-Missouri - an amazing organization that does so much good here in Columbia and across the state.
More than just a place to sleep, the Ronald McDonald House provides a warm, safe, and comfortable home for sick children and their families. To do this, the Ronald McDonald House relies on the love, sharing and caring of hundreds of generous donors and volunteers from the mid-Missouri community.
We hope we can play a small part in helping them.
If one or more of those organizations mean something to you, please feel free to let your friends know that on Tuesdays, we'll be raising money for those organizations.
But you don't have to … no pressure. It just feels good for us to give and give back locally a little.
We announced this first in our email newsletter. You should sign up for it. We've been told it's helpful, thought-provoking, stimulating, and almost always free of typos.
But, honestly, while we like hosting stuff like this, special events are the exception – not the rule – around here. Most of our regulars would rather just enjoy the food and each other’s conversation, so we abide.
